A well-established specialist family law firm is expanding its Doncaster team and is looking for a Family Lawyer to join its growing practice.

The Opportunity
This is a flexible opportunity for a family law professional at a range of levels, from experienced paralegals and trainees through to qualified solicitors and CILEX Lawyers.
The level of responsibility and supervision will be tailored to your experience, with more senior candidates encouraged to take ownership of their own caseload and junior candidates supported in developing their technical and case-management skills.
The role will involve managing or assisting with a varied private family law caseload , including:
- Divorce and separation
- TOLATA claims
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Separation agreements
You will also be responsible for taking instructions, advising clients, drafting legal documentation, conducting negotiations and attending hearings where appropriate.
More experienced candidates may also have the opportunity to supervise junior colleagues, develop client relationships, network and contribute to the continued growth of the Doncaster office.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have practical family law experience and can demonstrate:
- Strong client-care and communication skills
- Good drafting and analytical ability
- Experience managing or assisting with family law matters
- A professional and organised approach
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Confidence using case-management systems and Microsoft Office
- An understanding of time recording and the commercial aspects of private family work
- A genuine interest in developing their career within family law
Experience in private children and financial remedy work would be advantageous, while TOLATA experience is desirable but not essential.
