New Locum Opportunity – Homelessness Lawyer Remote | £55-£60 per hour | Immediate Start We\’re working with Sheffield City Council to recruit a Locum Homelessness Lawyer for an initial 2–3 month contract (very likely to extend). This role is fully remote , offers a competitive hourly rate, and gives you the chance to make a real difference in a key frontline service. Advise on statutory homelessness duties (Housing Act 1996, Part VII) ✅ Respond to legal challenges from applicants & their reps ✅ Support senior staff with complex legal escalations ✅ Handle enquiries from solicitors, advocates & third parties ✅ Fully remote working – flexibility built in Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Exec 2–3 years+ experience in homelessness or housing law ️ Ideally with local authority background ️ This is an ideal contract for someone who enjoys public law, thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, and is ready to hit the ground running
