Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
- Represent members in regulatory hearings, inquests, and disciplinary tribunals.
- Provide strategic legal advice on fitness to practise investigations and professional conduct issues.
- Prepare cases for hearing, including the drafting of submissions, witness statements, and legal arguments.
- Conduct advocacy before Coroner's Courts and professional regulatory bodies.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external counsel to ensure effective and well-managed case progression.
- Stay informed on developments in healthcare regulation and coronial law.
