CRA Consulting are currently working with a well-established law firm in Buxton who are looking to recruit a

Conveyancing Assistant to join their property team.

This would suit someone who already has experience within a conveyancing environment and is looking for a role where they can continue to develop their knowledge and take on more responsibility.

The Role

You will be working alongside the conveyancing team, providing support across a caseload of residential property matters and helping to ensure files progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Supporting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters.
  • Opening and maintaining client files.
  • Preparing and sending correspondence and legal documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors and other third parties.
  • Requesting and chasing searches and other documentation.
  • Assisting with enquiries and the progression of transactions.
  • Keeping clients updated throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Maintaining accurate case management records.
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider property team.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a conveyancing or legal environment.

You will need to be organised, have good attention to detail and be comfortable dealing with clients and other professionals.

You should also be able to manage your own workload, work to deadlines and be confident supporting a busy conveyancing team.

Previous experience as a

Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal would be beneficial.
