- Reviewing liability, quantum and evidence to determine the appropriate litigation strategy.
- Drafting pleadings, applications, witness statements and other court documentation.
- Preparing files for hearings and trials where required.
- Negotiating settlement with opposing representatives and other parties.
- Working closely with insurers, clients, counsel and experts.
- Progressing claims in line with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Working towards individual performance and financial objectives while maintaining a high level of client service.
About You
We’re open to hearing from Credit Hire Litigators, Litigation Executives, Fee Earners, Paralegals and Solicitors with relevant experience. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience handling your own litigated credit hire caseload.
- A good understanding of credit hire claims, civil procedure and relevant case law.
- Experience progressing RTA claims through the litigation process.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare matters effectively for hearings.
- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
- A commercially minded approach and strong attention to detail.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
Salary & Benefits
Alongside a competitive salary, the role offers:
- Uncapped monthly bonus, with realistic additional earnings of around £1,000–£2,800 per month.
- 23 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
- Company pension scheme.
- Paid overtime at 1.5x hourly rate, subject to approval.
- Employee Assistance Programme.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.
