The Opportunity
CRA Consulting are working with an established and highly regarded law firm in Sheffield who are looking to make a significant senior appointment within their Residential Property team. This is not your standard conveyancing vacancy. We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive who is ready to join at Managing Associate level and become an important part of an already established and prestigious team. Salary wise, we are looking at £85,000 to £110,000 depending on experience, making this one of the more attractive senior Residential Property opportunities currently available in the Sheffield market. The role will be based from fantastic modern offices right in the heart of Sheffield city centre, with hybrid working available.
The Role
You will join an established Residential Property team handling a high-quality caseload rather than a high-volume conveyancing environment. The firm is looking for someone who can bring strong technical experience but who also wants to have an influence on the wider team. Your work is likely to include:
- Residential sales and purchases
- High-value and complex property transactions
- Freehold and leasehold matters
- New-build transactions
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- Advising clients on more complex residential property matters
- Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team
- Developing existing client and introducer relationships
- Helping with the continued growth and development of the department
There is an established team and client base already in place, so this isn't a role where you are expected to arrive and build everything from scratch.
What Are They Looking For?
I'm keen to speak with experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives or senior Residential Property lawyers who are comfortable handling quality work and are ready for a senior position. You could already be a Managing Associate, Senior Associate or Legal Director. Equally, you may be sitting at Senior Associate level and wondering when the next opportunity is actually going to arrive at your current firm. At this level, technical ability is obviously important, but personality and commercial awareness will be equally important. They want someone who can work well with the existing team, develop relationships and become a key part of the department moving forward.
What's On Offer?
- Salary of £85,000 - £110,000 depending on experience
- Managing Associate level appointment
- Hybrid working
- Modern Sheffield city-centre offices
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
- Established and highly regarded Residential Property team
- High-quality residential conveyancing work
- Opportunity to have a genuine influence within the department
- Long-term career development within an established law firm
Interested? You don't necessarily need to be actively looking to have a conversation about this one. At this level, I appreciate that moving firms is a big decision and it needs to be the right opportunity rather than simply another job. If you're an experienced Residential Property lawyer in Sheffield or the wider Yorkshire market and you're interested to know what £85,000 - £110,000 could look like for your next career move, give me a call. Everything can be discussed completely confidentially before deciding whether you would like to take things any further.
