A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Derby is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor at around 2-3 years' PQE to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established practice, with the opportunity to take responsibility for a varied caseload and build strong client relationships.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of family matters, with a particular focus on areas such as:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial matters
  • Private children matters
  • Cohabitation and pre-/post-nuptial agreements
  • Domestic abuse matters
  • Other general family work

You will manage your own caseload with appropriate support, while working as part of an experienced and collaborative team.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with around 2-3 years' PQE in Family Law
  • Have experience managing a varied family caseload
  • Be confident dealing directly with clients and able to build strong relationships
  • Have excellent communication, organisational and drafting skills
  • Be commercially aware and committed to delivering a high level of client service
  • Be keen to develop their career within a supportive firm

Applications from candidates with slightly more or less PQE may also be considered where the experience is right.
