CRA Consulting are currently recruiting for a Wills Paralegal to join the Private Client team of a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year's Private Client experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing legal team.

The Role

  • Working within the Private Client department, you will be involved in a range of Wills and estate planning matters, providing excellent client care and producing accurate legal documentation.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Drafting Wills
    • Preparing and managing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
    • Meeting with and advising clients
    • Assisting with Private Client and estate matters
    • Identifying opportunities to signpost clients to additional legal services
    • Supporting the wider Private Client team where required

About You

  • We are looking for a Wills Paralegal or Private Client Paralegal with at least 1 year's experience within a Private Client legal environment.
  • You will ideally have experience in:
    • Drafting Wills
    • Preparing LPAs
    • Assisting with estate and probate matters
    • Dealing directly with clients
    • Working within a law firm or legal environment

You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload with minimal supervision following an appropriate training period. A Law degree or equivalent qualification would be advantageous but is not essential where you have relevant practical experience. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable due to occasional travel between offices.
