Employment Lawyer - Local Authority
West Yorkshire | 6-Month Locum Contract | £50-£65 per hour | Hybrid/Remote
CRA Consulting are currently working with a local authority based in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer on a 6-month locum contract.
The successful candidate will join an established legal team, providing advice across a varied employment caseload and supporting the Council on a range of employment matters.
The Role:
Providing legal advice across a range of employment law matters
Managing a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution
Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues
Working closely with HR teams and senior stakeholders
Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with relevant employment law experience
Local authority experience is desirable but not essential
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and case law
Able to manage a caseload independently
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
What's on Offer:

£50-£65 per hour
Monday to Friday working week
