Our Peterborough facility is a standout success story, recognised internally as 'Overall Best Plant in EMEA' within just three years of opening. We’re now looking for an Electrical Engineer, a unique opportunity to play a key role in our growing operation.

The Opportunity

In this hands-on technical role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising electrical systems across the plant, ensuring minimal disruption to production and full compliance with safety standards. You’ll work closely with our team of engineers to resolve and implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and performance. From fault-finding and repairs to installation and modification of equipment, you’ll play a key role in keeping the production line running at peak performance. This role also involves analysing line performance, updating PLC software, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise output and reliability.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a proactive and technically skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be confident working both independently and as part of a team. A Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering (with an electrical bias) is essential. Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments, along with knowledge of fault-finding techniques and basic programming, will be highly beneficial. You’ll also bring a “can-do” attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to support and collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve performance.
