A Manufacturing Manager at CROWN Packaging is responsible for overseeing and optimising daily production operations to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, high-quality product output, and adherence to safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise production teams, including scheduling, performance management, training, and development.
  • Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, EHS, Quality and supply chain) to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and inform decision-making.
  • Participate in budget planning and control for the production department.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the production team.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
