Your mission in CMbE

Reporting to the Machine Shop Team Leaders, the successful candidate will be capable of accurately fitting and deburring parts to drawing specifications and ensuring all documentation is up to date and legible. The candidate will be conducting operator asset care tasks, reporting hazards and auditing work areas to company 6’s standards. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out cleaning pit-stops at the scheduled times in an efficient and effective manner. They will be expected to escalate any issues related to tooling, drawings, routings, or machine faults. The candidate will participate in investigations to identify the causes of non-conformance. The successful candidate must accurately record all relevant data associated with their tasks using the AWMS and MES computer systems. Adherence to stock control procedures is essential. The candidate will also contribute to cost-saving initiatives and provide constructive feedback to the improvement team. Clear communication of any issues and full compliance with all risk assessments and procedures are also key aspects of the role.

About you

The successful candidate will have prior experience of bench fitting/hand skills with knowledge of Quality systems and procedures, problem solving and mechanical and technical skills. A minimum of 3 years’ experience is desirable. The candidate will have excellent attention to detail and basic lean principles.
