Full‑time, permanent position. Candidates must be able to travel 200 days per year, including international trips.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and effective installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CMbE machinery.
- Maintain and enhance electrical and software control systems, including modifications to PLC, HMI, VFD, and servo drive software.
- Provide remote technical support to customers.
- Assist the Electrical Engineering Department during periods of reduced service demand.
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality technical support across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in electrical service and commissioning of high‑speed machinery.
- Apprentice‑trained with a minimum NVQ L3 in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix and Siemens S7/TIA Portal.
- Experience with Allen‑Bradley PowerFlex 525 and 753, Siemens G120 VFD, and servo drive and motor control applications.
- Knowledge of regenerative and dynamic braking techniques.
- Strong understanding of industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIsafe) and legacy systems (PROFIBUS, DeviceNet).
- Experience with IFM and Turck sensors (pressure, temperature, proximity, flow).
- Solid control panel design knowledge, AutoCAD Electrical 2017 proficiency, and safety PLC systems (VFD Safe Torque Off and safe stop functions).
- Ability to travel 200 days per year, including international travel.
