CMbE CarnaudMetalbox Engineering (CMbE) designs, develops, and manufactures high‑performance metal forming and finishing machinery for the production of beverage, food, and aerosol cans. The role is based at our Shipley site.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and place purchase orders.
- Maintain schedule reporting and delivery commitments with suppliers, communicating status to project and engineering teams.
- Perform commercial checks of payment terms, delivery terms and Terms & Conditions to align supplier and client requirements.
- Resolve purchase order queries or invoice mismatches independently.
- Liaise with business units to improve delivery and update MRP systems accordingly.

- Qualified or working towards CIPS Level 4.
