We are currently seeking experienced Set Carpenters for upcoming work with a well-established set building company based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the construction of high-quality sets for a variety of projects, including film, TV, sporting events, and brand events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct scenic elements from timber, sheet materials, and modular components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
- Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of finish
- Safely operate power and hand tools
- Collaborate with other trades and departments on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience in set construction or similar carpentry-based environments
- Strong understanding of scenic carpentry techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence required due to the remote location of the site
- Own transport or reliable means of getting to the site
