- Freelance Site Supervisor Required
- Duration: 5 Weeks (with further work available for the right candidate)
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to oversee a refurbishment project at a busy distribution centre.
The works will include the installation of fire doors, fire alarms, and fire stopping, and we require a proactive individual who can effectively manage site operations and drive productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site teams carrying out fire protection works.
- Ensure operatives remain productive and focused on programme delivery.
- Monitor the quality and progress of all works on site.
- Liaise daily with the Main Contractor's Project Manager.
- Provide regular progress updates to your Line Manager.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Assist in resolving site issues and maintaining programme deadlines.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- SSSTS qualification (minimum requirement).
- Previous experience supervising refurbishment projects.
- Experience managing fire door, fire alarm, or passive fire protection works would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple work fronts.
