Hours: split shifts - 5.30am to 3.30pm / 7.30am – 5.30pm
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join our client who are main contractor that turnover circa £150m. They have been allocated a national roll out in the region of £50m’s worth of Small / Medium Distribution centre refurbishments for their client, a world leading brand. The scope of works vary across all schemes and are from £3m to £8m a piece. This particular project is in Methley and has 10 weeks remaining on site, it is a £3.2m scheme where there are internal infrastructure works, M&E upgrades, Fire doors, painting / Decorating. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to deliver the project on time and to a high standard as well as being computer literate.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day site operations across the 10-week programme.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme milestones and report regularly to the project team.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee quality control and resolve any issues that arise.
