Rate: £170 - £190 per day

Hours: 7.30am – 5.00pm

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Counterbalance Forklift driver who holds the relevant Counterbalance Training Card to join our client and support the team on a busy refurbishment project. The scheme itself is a medium sized distribution centre owned by a global brand, they are expanding their floor space by ripping out / knocking down internal walls to make the building an open plan finish. This will be a full fit out / civils project with its total value being circa £7.5m.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts to move construction materials around the site.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
  • Assist with general site duties as needed.
  • Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Labouring with the team when free.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift operator certification – (Npors / Equivalent).
  • CSCS Card.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts on construction sites.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
