Overview

We are seeking 1 x Electrician for client for circa 3 weeks to support and help deliver a refurbishment & Fit out scheme for one of the UK\’s leading Banking chains in the centre of Glasgow.

Our client is an Electrical contractor who turnover circa £20m and deliver shopfitting projects for main contractors nationally so this could be a great opportunity for future works.

You will need a valid ECS Card

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing faults to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspection and testing activities, completing necessary documentation and reports as required.
  • Liaise with clients and team members to provide clear communication on project progress, ensuring client needs and expectations are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician with a valid ECS gold card.
  • Proficiency in Testing and Inspection, holding a certification in this area.
  • Strong understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial electrical industry.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Location: Argyle St, Glasgow

Rate: Negotiable – 7.30am / 4.30pm

Project: High Street Bank, Fit-Out

Duration: 3 weeks long
