We are seeking a qualified Counterbalance Forklift driver to join our client and support the team on a busy refurbishment project. The scheme itself is medium sized shell that is being converted and turned into a supermarket. This will be a full fit out with its total value being circa £7m. Our client is a billion-pound turnover contractor and has a heavy presence in the West Midlands, so this will be a good opportunity to impress and have a foot in the door for moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move construction materials around the site.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Assist with general site duties as needed.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification – Counterbalance / Telescopic.
- Asbestos Awareness (Will be required / 40 minutes online course).
- Proven experience operating forklifts on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
