Job Overview

Regulatory compliance supports which include:

  • Revise our client’s governance due to REGDOC revisions, Programmatic Changes, and/or Industry driven revisions.
  • Participate in Pickering Refurbishment Regulatory supports including CNSC correspondence, discussions, work shops etc.
  • Participate in DNNP Regulatory supports including CNSC correspondence, discussions, work shops etc.
  • Implement Pickering Refurbishment & DNNP plans and revise existing internal governance.
  • Coordinate updates to the PN/DN/DNNP PROLs and LCHs.
  • Facilitate correspondence with the CNSC related to inspection findings and implement resolutions for PN/DN.
  • Support the Pickering/Darlington Senior Training Managers, Examinations Senior Manager as well as the Operations Training Regulatory Compliance Section Manager

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with CNSC processes and governance related to operator certification required.
  • Professional written and verbal communications commensurate with dealing with a government regulatory authority including confidentiality around sensitive information.
  • Communication with the CNSC (written correspondence and online or in-person meetings) shall follow established protocols with Regulatory Affairs and other client department.
  • Access to the Protected Area at PNGS/DNGS is not required. Access to the Pickering Learning Centre (PLC) and Darlington Learning Centre (DLC) and other training facilities may be required.
  • In order to support the regulatory interfaces, the project will require that the vendor resources have been previously certified by the CNSC as an ANO, CRSS or SM at any site.
  • Must have resources with extensive experience (> 2 years) in the Certification Exam group as an Authorization Training Supervisor (ATS) or Manager (or equivalent) at any site.
  • Must have previous experience working directly for the CNSC.
