The main purpose of this position is to provide, as an on-site Site Engineer, a professional service function to CPS' customer, ensuring the highest level of machine availability. Deliver a first-class engineering service through pro-active and reactive maintenance. Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory, and services.
Key activities include:
- Ensuring machine performance is in line with or exceeds the customer's expectations.
- Compliance with all procedures related to Health & Safety Regulations whilst performing the duties of an engineer.
- Identify any opportunities for reliability and performance improvements.
- Perform methodical diagnosis, repair, and testing of electromechanical equipment to achieve a quick first-time fix on all breakdowns.
- Maintenance of on-site stock and spares.
- Build and maintain relationships within the customer's business and interface professionally with the customer.
Qualifications, attributes and experience required:
- HNC in an engineering subject or experience in packaging or a FMCG or document handling/printing environment.
- PC literate (Working knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft software package).
- Excellent communication skills.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (Onsite)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 + Shift Allowance
