We are seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Specialist to join our team, playing a critical role in bridging product knowledge with marketing execution. This role is essential to shaping and driving our marketing strategy across both the commercial and public sectors. The Product Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Heads of Practice to gain an in-depth understanding of our products, craft compelling messaging, and lead the development and execution of targeted marketing plans.

Responsibilities
Product Knowledge Acquisition

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the product, understanding features, benefits, and unique differentiators.
  • Collaborate closely with the Heads of Practice to gather customer insights, identify pain points, and analyse market trends.
  • Research competitive positioning to ensure our product stands out effectively in the marketplace.

Messaging Development

  • Develop clear, concise, and impactful product messaging that resonates with our target audiences, specifically within the commercial and public sector markets.
  • Tailor value propositions to address the specific needs of each audience segment, ensuring alignment with market demands and customer needs.

Marketing Plan Development

  • Create a comprehensive marketing plan with well-defined goals, target audience insights, key messages, preferred channels, and tactical approaches.
  • Incorporate feedback from the Heads of Practice and relevant market research to build a data-driven strategy.
  • Define measurable success metrics for each campaign and establish tracking mechanisms to monitor performance.

Campaign Execution

Work closely with the Marketing Designer to produce content in alignment with the marketing plan, including (but not limited to):

  • Blog posts
  • Case studies
  • Social media posts
  • Email campaigns
  • Webinars
  • Events and Trade Shows.

Oversee the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and consistency across digital, social media, and event channels.

Performance Analysis and Optimisation

Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools. Identify insights from campaign data, providing recommendations for optimisation to improve engagement and conversion rates. Communicate findings to the Heads of Practice and the broader marketing team, refining messaging and tactics as needed.

Experience Required

Education: A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and a proactive approach to solving problems and tackling challenges.
  • Comfortable working with data to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of marketing principles, with a keen interest in developing skills in product marketing and campaign execution.
