CPS Group UK are delighted to be supporting a global entertainment brand to appoint a seasoned SVOD Brand Marketing Manager to develop insight-driven marketing strategies and top-tier marketing campaigns at both brand and IP/content levels. The individual will have day to day responsibility for UK marketing activity alongside peers, working with the research and insights teams, be the expert on the UK market audiences & behaviours, the TV & SVOD landscape and broader entertainment landscape. The role is an initial 3-month contract with a high prospect of further extension, based on-site (4/5 days) in London.
Role Overview:
- Create and execute industry leading, insight driven, innovative & effective marketing campaigns at brand and specific IP level
- Manage and be responsible for campaign planning process and timelines, including internal and external briefings, implementation and post-campaign reporting & analysis
- Ensures learnings and recommendations flow into future activity
- Daily management of the media agency, building a strong and trusted partnership to ensure continued innovative and effective campaigns
- Campaign budget management, tracking purchase orders, managing vendors, and supporting quarterly financial planning
- Partner with the Performance, Promotions and Retention teams to ensure media plans are connected and intertwined with their activity
- Be a key point of contact with the publicity team to ensure we are aligned and maximising brand and content publicity opportunities
- Be an expert on attitudes and behaviours of key UK audiences and where and how to connect with them
- Understand the competitive environment from both a platform and content perspective
- Applying insights to gain competitive advantage
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven Marketing Manager-level experience
- Experience working within the Entertainment industry (TV, SVOD or Theatrical)
- Ability to ideate and manage high profile, E2E marketing campaigns for entertainment content
- Understands audiences and applies this knowledge to development and implementation
- Previous agency management experience
- Previous budget management experience
- Strong strategic marketing capabilities and implementation skills
- Meticulous organisational skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
