IT Infrastructure Technician
Location: Central Bristol (Fully On-Site)
Salary: Up to £28,000 p/annum
CPS Group are supporting a client in Central Bristol who are looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you\’ll provide day-to-day IT support across the business, implement solutions, and ensure systems and infrastructure run smoothly.
The IT team is at the heart of the organisation, enabling departments to work effectively and securely. From maintaining infrastructure to helping colleagues with everyday IT needs, you\\\’ll play a key role in keeping the business connected and operational.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software, hardware, and equipment
- Provide IT support to staff in person, by phone, and via email
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Prioritise and manage open support tickets
- Maintain and support communication and network infrastructure
- Produce documentation, reports, and guides to support IT processes
- Manage compliance tasks, including Cyber Essentials certification
Skills & Experience
- IT degree or equivalent qualification/experience
- At least 6 months\\\\\’ experience in a fast-paced IT support/helpdesk role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
- Clear and confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Proactive and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset
