CPS Group are supporting an established technology organisation in Cardiff with the recruitment of a Senior Java Engineer to join their growing software engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring other engineers and contributing to the design of modern, scalable software solutions.
Working within an Agile environment, you'll take ownership of complex features from design through to delivery, remaining hands-on throughout the development life cycle. Alongside writing high-quality code, you'll mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural discussions and help drive continuous improvement across the engineering function.
The Role:
- Designing and developing complex Java applications using modern engineering practices.
- Leading the delivery of key software features from design through to implementation.
- Producing technical designs and documentation to support development.
