We\’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Claims Handler to join one of our clients\’ growing insurance teams. In this role, you\’ll take ownership of travel insurance claims from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a fair, timely, and supportive experience.

What You\’ll Do

Managing Claims Caseload

Proactively handle an allocation of travel insurance claims from notification through to closure.

Assess indemnity, liability, and settlement in line with policy terms.

Negotiate fair outcomes while maintaining excellent service standards.

Fraud & Risk Awareness

Identify potential fraud indicators and refer as appropriate.

Spot recovery opportunities to support business efficiency.

Supporting Operational Excellence

Work closely with the Claims Team Leader to support day-to-day operations.

Ensure service levels, compliance requirements, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Contribute ideas to enhance processes and improve customer experience.

Customer Service & Communication

Provide clear, empathetic communication to customers throughout the claims process.

Build effective working relationships with colleagues, third parties, and suppliers.

Experience in a travel insurance claims environment.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
