We’re working with a growing digital consultancy that delivers complex technology and transformation programmes for major UK organisations. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Workday Financials Consultant to lead end-to-end implementations and support wider financial transformation initiatives.
This is a Senior / Lead functional role, combining hands-on Workday configuration with client engagement, solution design and strategic guidance.
The Role
You’ll take a lead role across Workday Financials programmes, working closely with finance stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver effective solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations and optimisation
- Configure and support core modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement and Expenses
- Work across Projects / Grants, where applicable
- Lead client workshops to understand and analyse business requirements
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
- Support integration design and data migration activities
- Lead SIT, UAT and deployment activities
- Provide guidance on financial transformation and Workday best practice
- Collaborate with technical, integration and reporting teams
- Build strong relationships with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs and Controllers
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong background / experience working within similar Workday Financials Consultant role
- A strong track record delivering end-to-end Workday Financials implementations
- Strong knowledge of the Workday Financial Data Model
- Knowledge / experience with Business Assets and Accounting Configuration preferred
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior finance teams
- Experience working within agile, fast-paced delivery environments
- Active or previously held Workday Financials certification
