Senior Software Engineer (Python)
Bristol – fully flexible hybrid / some client visits

CPS Group Uk are working with a leading Software Consultancy who have an opportunity for a senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join.
Operating primarily within the central government and national security sectors candidates will need to be able to obtain Security Clearance – UK Passport holders only.
You will be based out of offices in Bristol – fully flexible hybrid working – you choose how often you are in. You will typically be required to attend client meetings every other week on average.
You will be involved with supporting Agile teams that work with a broad selection of clients on a range of complex projects focussing on building new bespoke software solutions.
Requirements:
* Experience within a similar Software Engineering role, ideally from within consultancy / public sector / government / defence but not essential.
* Strong software development skills within Python
* Full stack – ideally with some JavaScript (React) but flexible
* AWS is essential
* Strong communication skills – this is a consultancy role so working with clients is key.
* Must hold or be able to eligible for Security Clearance (SC) – British passport holder and lived permanently in the UK for the min last 5 years.
