Location: Hybrid – once a month in the office (Cardiff)

Salary: Up to £55,000

Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

CPS Group are supporting a client in the financial services industry who are seeking a Platform/DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to drive modern software delivery through automation, cloud adoption, and DevOps best practice.

The Role:

  • Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Automate infrastructure and development environments
  • Provide scalable, reusable platform solutions to support delivery teams
  • Embed DevOps practices that drive speed, security, and reliability
  • Promote continuous improvement and modern engineering approaches

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Platform/ DevOps Engineering role
  • Strong experience with DevOps principles and software delivery automation
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, scripting, and modern hosting models
  • Familiarity with containers and cloud technologies
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complexity
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
