- We're looking for a
Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC), where you'll play a key role in protecting customer environments from evolving cyber threats.
You'll lead incident investigation and response, develop and optimise detection capabilities, and act as a technical mentor and escalation point for our SOC analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber security alerts and incidents across customer environments.
- Develop, tune, and maintain SIEM detection rules in
- Microsoft Sentinel and
IBM QRadar , including supporting rule migration between platforms.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, threat intelligence research, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
- Lead the development of SOC processes, playbooks, and continuous service improvements.
- Mentor and coach analysts, deliver technical training, and provide day-to-day guidance and out-of-hours technical escalation support.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, privileged access reviews, and security risk analysis.
- Communicate technical security risks clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years' experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or similar cyber security role.
- Proven experience investigating and responding to security incidents within defined SLAs.
- Hands-on experience with
- Microsoft Sentinel ,
- Microsoft XDR ,
IBM QRadar , EDR, and email security platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of
- KQL (Kusto Query Language) and
AQL (Ariel Query Language) .
- Experience developing SIEM detection rules, threat hunting, and security monitoring use cases.
- Experience mentoring and supporting SOC analysts, with the ability to lead by example and drive continuous improvement.
