Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
SAP Smart Recruiters Functional Lead / Functional Consultant to provide functional and product expertise across a recruitment platform within a Central Government environment.
You will work with Resourcing, Digital and third-party suppliers to translate business requirements into effective Smart Recruiters solutions, improve recruitment processes, and support integration with
SAP Employee Central .
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional SME and lead for Smart Recruiters.
- Gather requirements and lead workshops with HR and recruitment stakeholders.
- Design and improve end-to-end recruitment processes, including automation and optimisation.
- Configure Smart Recruiters across requisitions, job advertising, candidate management, workflows, approvals, interviews, offers, reporting and AI functionality.
- Support integration with
SAP Employee Central and third-party solutions, including candidate redaction/blind-sifting.
- Develop functional specifications, process maps and configuration documentation.
- Support recruitment reporting, dashboards, data quality and KPI development.
- Develop training materials and support user adoption.
- Ensure solutions meet relevant recruitment policies, legislation, GDPR, security and governance requirements.
- Work with and manage third-party suppliers where required.
Essential Experience
- Significant hands-on
Smart Recruiters functional, product or business systems experience .
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and Talent Acquisition processes.
- Experience configuring Smart Recruiters workflows and business processes.
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis and functional documentation skills.
- Experience leading workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with third-party suppliers.
- Understanding of recruitment data, reporting and KPIs.
- Active SC clearance (or eligibility to undergo SC Clearance)
Desirable
- Smart Recruiters implementation or major transformation experience.
- Experience integrating Smart Recruiters with HR/ERP or identity-management platforms.
SAP Success Factors / Employee Central experience.
- Central Government or Civil Service recruitment experience.
- Agile delivery experience.
- Smart Recruiters certification or equivalent experience.
