A global medical device manufacturer is seeking an accomplished Electronics Design Manager to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, driving innovation in the design and development of advanced medical technologies. This leadership role offers the chance to influence strategic product development, oversee complex embedded electronics projects, and shape the next generation of patient monitoring solutions within a regulated, high-technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of electronics design engineers.
- Oversee multiple design projects from concept to production, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Champion best practice in design control, compliance, and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO 14971).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across software, mechanical, and quality engineering disciplines.
- Drive continuous improvement in design tools, processes, and methodologies to reduce time-to-market.
- Support strategic recruitment, mentoring, and development of engineering talent.
Ideal Experience
- Proven track record leading electronics design teams in a regulated or high-technology industry (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
- Strong background in embedded systems, PCB design, or sensor technologies.
- Experience managing complex design and development projects through the full product lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
