A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a Procurement Excellence and Insights Lead to help drive continuous improvement across procurement operations, processes, technology and reporting. This is a highly visible role that will work across Procurement, Finance, Technology, Compliance and the wider business to improve ways of working, enhance governance, optimise systems and deliver meaningful management information and insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving continuous improvement across procurement processes, governance and operating models
- Acting as a subject matter expert for Source-to-Contract processes and supplier onboarding
- Leading workflow and demand management activities to improve efficiency and stakeholder experience
- Identifying opportunities for automation, self-service and process optimisation
- Owning procurement reporting, analytics and performance insights
- Partnering with business stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting standards and decision-making
- Supporting the evaluation and implementation of procurement technologies and AI-enabled solutions
What we're looking for:
We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds who can demonstrate strong process improvement, stakeholder engagement, data and operational excellence capabilities. You may currently be working as a:
- Procurement Excellence, Operations or Transformation Professional
- Buyer, Senior Buyer or Category Specialist with strong process and reporting experience
- Business Analyst involved in process mapping, systems or operational improvement
- PMO or Project/Programme professional with governance and change experience
- Sales Operations or Business Operations professional with strong reporting and optimisation skills
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Experience improving processes, controls or operating models
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience working with business systems, workflows or technology platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A structured, delivery-focused approach within a complex business environment
- Exposure to procurement, supplier management, governance or regulated environments would be advantageous
- Experience with platforms such as Coupa, Oracle Fusion, Ivalua, Zip or similar technologies would be beneficial but is not essential
