Role Overview

• An IBM Apptio One Technical Implementation Consultant is responsible for deploying, configuring, and optimizing IBM Apptio\\\’s financial management solutions within an organization. The role requires strong technical expertise in IT financial management (ITFM) and the Apptio platform, along with the ability to work closely with clients to understand their financial management needs, customize solutions, and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Apptio One solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Customize the Apptio platform to align with the org
• Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to understand their ITFM processes and pain points, providing expertise to ensure the successful adoption and integration of Apptio solutions.
• Deliver training sessions and provide documentation to ensure clients can effectively use and maintain the Apptio platform.
• Technical Expertise: Develop complex financial models, dashboards, and reports within Apptio One to provide actionable insights into IT costs, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during and after the implementation process.
• Stay updated on the latest features and best practices of Apptio One and related technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects. Collaborate with Apptio\\\’s support and engineering teams to escalate and resolve critical issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance the Apptio platform for clients, proposing and implementing improvements. Gather client feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of Apptio\\\’s products and services.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT financial management, software implementation, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Apptio One and other financial management tools.
• Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Certification in Apptio (e.g., Apptio Certified Professional) is highly desirable.
