A London Borough is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to deliver a range of traffic schemes from feasibility through to implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Traffic & Engineering team working on high-profile transport initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver traffic engineering schemes from concept to completion
  • Provide professional and technical advice across transport projects
  • Support and supervise junior staff
  • Contribute to programmes including Liveable Neighbourhoods, cycling and bus improvements, road safety and parking schemes
  • Prepare designs, drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Traffic Engineer within a Local Authority
  • Strong design experience using AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of traffic management, highways design and relevant legislation
  • Ability to manage projects and stakeholders effectively
