You ll be the Senior Project Engineer for Birmingham Interchange station, reporting to the Head of Engineering and Environment for the Interchange project.
This is a position with responsibility for engineering delivery across the station structure from design through to construction.
The scheme design for Birmingham Interchange station is being revisited to incorporate design opportunities.
You ll pick up leading the revised detailed design phase with a deadline of November 2026.
The station sits on the side of the trace with interfacing works including overbridges and connection to an automated people mover system.
Structures and civils are the primary technical focus.
Following detailed design, survey works are planned for 2027.
Site mobilisation is expected around 2028.
You ll be working closely with the construction partner throughout the design and early phases.
