A London Local Authority is recruiting for an Interim Parking PCN Appeals Officer to join their Parking Services Team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and respond to representations, appeals, and statutory correspondence relating to parking and traffic Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) — including parking, bus lane, and moving traffic contraventions.
• Review evidence and determine whether to uphold or cancel PCNs in line with council policy and relevant legislation.
• Support the management of the debt recovery process and ensure a high standard of customer service and case accuracy.
Experience Required:
• Previous experience of working as a Parking Appeals officer
• Proven experience handling large volumes of correspondence.
• Direct experience processing parking or traffic representations and appeals.
• Track record of meeting performance and quality targets.
• In-depth, current knowledge of parking and moving traffic legislation, enforcement procedures, and appeals processes.
