We are seeking an experienced Traffic/Highways Project Engineer for an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a high-profile Rail scheme. This role offers a chance to work as the end client, ensuring that consultancies and contractors deliver high-quality traffic and highway designs in accordance with the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assuring the delivery of Traffic Management, New Road Design, Traffic Flow Forecasts, and Planning.
- Ensure contractors and consultancies meet contractual and design standards.
- Solve problems effectively by working closely with contractors and consultants.
- Conduct site visits and work from contractor compound offices as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in Traffic Management Design, Road Impact Assessments, and Highways Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of S278 agreements and a solid understanding of Traffic Management Design.
- Strong understanding of Local Authority Traffic/Highways.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
