Fire Safety Specialist – East London – £600/day (Umbrella) Interim | East London | Hybrid Working An East London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Specialist to lead on compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act, and related legislation across a portfolio of high-risk residential buildings (HRRBs). Key Responsibilities: Act as the Principal Accountable Person for structural and external building safety. Develop and implement fire and building safety strategies. Oversee contractors, budgets, procurement, and asset data. Ensure timely submission of Building Safety Cases. Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator and other stakeholders. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure legal compliance. About You: Extensive experience in fire/building safety compliance, ideally in housing. Strong knowledge of the Building Safety and Fire Safety Acts. Degree/diploma in Construction or Fire Safety. Membership of RICS, IFE, IFSM, IOSH, or similar (desirable). Skilled in stakeholder management and emergency decision-making
