A London Borough is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to deliver a range of traffic schemes from feasibility through to implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Traffic & Engineering team working on high-profile transport initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver traffic engineering schemes from concept to completion
- Provide professional and technical advice across transport projects
- Support and supervise junior staff
- Contribute to programmes including Liveable Neighbourhoods, cycling and bus improvements, road safety and parking schemes
- Prepare designs, drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Traffic Engineer within a Local Authority
- Strong design experience using AutoCAD
- Knowledge of traffic management, highways design and relevant legislation
- Ability to manage projects and stakeholders effectively
