Construction Assurance Manager
We're recruiting a Construction Assurance Manager to deliver constructability assurance and specialist expertise on a major high-speed rail infrastructure project.
This is a technical leadership role.
You'll work alongside project managers and construction teams to ensure that major civil engineering contracts are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
You'll take a risk-based approach to assurance, identifying issues early and working with contractors and the client team to resolve them before they impact delivery.
You'll provide specialist advice on construction methodology, help administer complex NEC3 contracts, support site safety practices, and ensure that all works comply with environmental requirements and undertakings obligations.
You'll be the technical link between the project management team and the supply chain, translating complex construction challenges into clear solutions.
What We're Looking For
You're a civil engineer or construction professional with substantial experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
This role suits construction Supervisors, Clerk of Works, Senior Supervisors and Construction Managers who are ready to step into an assurance and advisory function.
You understand NEC3 contract administration, Construction Design Management regulations, and site-based health and safety management.
You've worked on major civils schemes involving earthworks, bridges and structures, or ground engineering work.
You combine deep technical knowledge with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and contractors.
You're pragmatic about balancing rigorous assurance with delivery timescales.
You can identify risks quickly, communicate them clearly, and work collaboratively to resolve them
