THE OPPORTUNITY
CPXR is recruiting for a Design Manager to join a successful main contractor based in Paddock Wood.

THE ROLE
- Challenging the design to make sure it can be constructed efficiently, safely and economically.
- Ensuring design information, approvals, samples, specifications and technical submissions are delivered when needed to avoid delaying construction.
- Identifying design risks and ensuring they are properly addressed, including compliance with CDM and Building Regulations requirements.
- Managing design changes and understanding their implications for cost, programme, quality and construction
- Making sure the completed design meets the employer's requirements, statutory requirements and relevant standards.
- Responding to RFIs, technical queries and site issues and ensuring the latest approved information reaches the site team.
