CPXR is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business specialising in high-end refurbishment, renovation, extensions and historic properties. This is a key commercial appointment and an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of the commercial function and work closely with the Managing Director.
The role will involve managing multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, including estimating, tendering, procurement, variations, cost control and overall commercial management. The position will initially be offered on a three-month temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent.
THE ROLE
- Take ownership of the day-to-day commercial function
- Commercially manage multiple construction projects
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Prepare estimates, tenders, take-offs and measurements
- Manage procurement, subcontractor accounts and supplier orders
- Identify, price and manage variations and project costs
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor
- Previous main contractor experience is strongly preferred
