THE OPPORTUNITY
CPXR is recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an established Civil Engineering Contractor based in East Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Civil Engineering who is looking for progression. The role will involve assisting the Quantity Surveyor in his projects to eventually manage your own. The company offers progression and support.
THE ROLE
- 1β2 days per week on site.
- Assist with quantity surveying and commercial management across civil engineering projects.
- Support with cost estimates, valuations, variations, and subcontractor payments.
- Assist with tendering, procurement, and the preparation of bills of quantities.
- Maintain accurate cost records, budgets, and project documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to monitor project costs and commercial performance.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Background in Civil Engineering
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Candidates from a commercial background will also be considered.
