THE OPPORTUNITY

CPXR is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing specialist construction subcontractor based in Dartford, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join an established business working on projects across London and the South East. The role will involve managing the commercial performance of projects, including cost control, valuations, variations, subcontractor management and financial reporting. The company offers a competitive salary, a supportive working environment and genuine opportunities for career progression.

THE ROLE

  • Manage the commercial performance of construction projects
  • Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
  • Manage variations and change control
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability
  • Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Produce commercial reports and provide accurate financial information

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Previous construction industry experience
  • Subcontractor experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Strong commercial and cost management skills
  • Confident managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
