We are partnering with a leading civil contractor to find an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their team.

With a solid reputation for delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, our client is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects within the civil sector.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication, strong collaboration, and optimal performance.
  • Contributes to business improvement by performing a safety audit at least once a month.
  • Project cost control and financial reporting.
  • Monitors incident and near-miss reporting across PM's sites, fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations, maintaining high standards across all projects.
  • Offer mentoring and advice to direct reports on project problems, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and other documentation for senior management and clients.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, maintaining positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years in management within mixed mechanical, electrical and civil roles.
  • Record in delivering large, complex 10m- 50m projects.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in a mixed mechanical, electrical and civil job.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering practices and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and priorities.
  • Full understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Required Qualifications / Training
  • Engineering degree, NVQ L6 in a construction related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • CSCS (Gold, Black, or White card)
  • SSSTS/ SMSTS
  • JCT Contract Management
  • NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Environmental related such as SEATS.
  • Procore Certifications (Project Manager: Core Tools, Project Management, Preconstruction, Quality & Safety)
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • MS 365, Share Point, Teams, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point
