As a member of Quanta Services, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.

CPP delivers high-voltage transmission line solutions up to 500kV, focusing on substation connections. We offer world-leading, internationally supported live-line capabilities – upgrading existing lines without outages. Our in-house engineering team provides full transmission line design services, covering civil, structural, foundation, and electrical line design.

The Opportunity: We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to join our Transmission Lines team. Our Project Engineers assist in providing delivery and engineering support on high voltage projects, including project management support, developing aspects of the design, procurement, site construction support, quality systems implementation, tendering support, creating ITP's/ITC's, reporting, and testing/commissioning support.

Skills And Experiences About You: To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience with overhead/transmission lines
  • Working knowledge of EPC project management including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and actively upskill
