We’re currently supporting a highly innovative engineering company at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technology, supplying cutting-edge machinery used across industries including renewable energy, aerospace, and marine.
Due to a surge in new projects, they are looking to bring on 8–10 experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technicians for a 9-12 month contract, with the potential for longer-term opportunities for the right individuals. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value, low-volume, bespoke machinery, including systems used in the production of wind turbine blades and advanced composite structures.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and assembling complex mechanical and electrical systems from technical drawings
- Wiring and installing control systems to a high standard
- Testing equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance
- Recording build data, test results, and time accurately within MRP systems
- Supporting engineering teams with feedback and practical solutions
- Assisting with servicing, maintenance, and occasional on-site work
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or workshop environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly on bespoke or non-standard equipment
- Experience with control systems wiring (for electrical roles)
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
