JOB SUMMARY

The Buyer I will provide essential support for daily purchasing activities, contributing to the smooth operation of procurement processes.

This role requires a professional with foundational skills in enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient procurement practices.

Supporting data-driven decision-making in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support daily purchasing tasks, including managing supplier communications, creating and issuing purchase orders, and initiating inventory transfers.
  • Assist in demand planning for stocked parts, using tools such as MRP and min/max levels to maintain inventory.
  • Help manage MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and indirect spending for the local site.
  • Assist with purchasing various third-party product categories and equipment.
  • Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with project budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure regional and global customer deliveries are met on time.
  • Support identifying areas for process improvement within purchasing and supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements during all purchasing activities.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
  • Qualification And Skills
  • 1-3 Years related experience.
  • Can-do attitude, a resourceful mindset, and a strong attention to detail in completing tasks.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel (basic to intermediate level), with a willingness to learn Power BI.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems (experience with SAP Business One is a plus).
  • Demonstrates initiative, works independently, and collaborates well with others across functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrates integrity, high ethical standards, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Open to supporting and working with global teams, respecting cultural differences.
